Our Set Carpentry/Set Construction 2-weekend class  offers a one-of-a-kind training program that concentrates on the essential technical and craft skills necessary for a film construction department.

Perfect for both those with non film industry construction experience and those with limited carpentry experience, our instructor will get you up to speed ready to join the construction department in a junior position. 

Over two weekends, we'll introduce you to the primary responsibilities of each member of the film construction team, go over the tools and materials used, and how film construction differs from real world construction.

Hands on, and taught at Green Pastures Studio in Oklahoma City, we'll dive into construction techniques and applications,  materials, support structures, and finish details such as trim, molding, doors and windows.

At the end of this class you will be film construction ready to begin your career with ready to learn quickly on the job.
